upgrade from msi twin frozr 7950

Both look fantastic cards im leaning towards the first one i will be gaming at 1080p for now but will be upgrading my monitor soon to 1440p

Have you considered the pcs 290?

On average the 290x is about 50% faster than the 7950. There a few used 7950s for like 100 and id look into them before and wait for 20nm

I prefer to stick to a single card do you think there will be new cards out before the end of the year or are we looking at next year maybe?

You could overclock it and get another HD 7950 for <£100 or sell and get a R9 290, good news if you want to try crossfire is that the HD 7950 is 3GB so VRAM won't be to much of an issue.
