Upgrade From My 7970.

Hi, so my birthday is coming up and I'm asking for some money to put towards a new Graphics Card, I want to spend around £250. It looks like I need to either go for a GTX 1060 or a 480 in this price range or are there any others you'd recommend? What would you say I should go for?

Also, would I see a big FPS increase on my 7970 do you think?

RX480 would be a good upgrade for you.

Same here, The 480's a good card that offers double the performance of the 7970 most of the time, That's a great upgrade.

RX 480 , age better and just incase dual cards gets sorted this year with DX12 you havent shot yourself in the foot

The gigabyte 480 doesnt have the best cooler,i would get one of the xfx or the powercolor devil.

I also like the look of that one as well as the Red Devil from Powercolor. Both are great cards and will be a very nice upgrade from a 7970.

I think the best of the bunch is the XFX GTR XXX as reviewed by J2c

He also reviewed the Gigabyte G1 gaming and said it's not a good card
