Hi all.

Ill be ordering a pair of new gfx cards tonight to replace my gtx260.
Whats more bang for buck from the ATI range as the all seem pretty close price wise etc.

either
2x 4890's
2x5750's
2x5770's.

regards
callum

Bang for buck the 4890 is a better card, however I think I read somewhere that the 5770s scale better in Crossfire? In which case they're probably more advisory ;)

It can indeed cold fusion (i hope), the 5850's an option...but then it would always leave my wanting a seconds card lol.

is there any reason for the 5770 over the 5750? will i notice a 200mhz increase.

Also is there any brands to avoid?

Not just core speed, the 5770's also have more shaders.

Exellent, looks like ill be ordering a pair of 5770's then.. yay twin ruby dolls :S

Also, just to check should my mobo + psu be up to the task of running twin cards?.
mobo -P5q-Pro - pretty sure when i baught it last year it was crossfire compatable.
PSU -Corsair hx850..which i thinks 'man enough'
