Hi all, my brother has a very basic pc he got cheap and it has no dedicated gfx card just the onboard intel hd4400.

What would be a good gfx card to step up to just something cheap?

If u don't mind second hand u can get plenty of types of gfx cards for very reasonable prices like a 670 card for 80 ish or maybe u don't need that much so a 570 maybe for a bit cheaper or somit. If its cheap PC tho ull need to list the parts it has so we can match u a card better as we don't know if u have a strong enough PSU or CPU etc. Tho if its a 4400 u had the CPU should be good enough I think.

If he needs to play modern games at 1080 ud need one with 2gb vram min, no need for more but can help with some games perhaps as depends on game but not many need more than 2 right now. For 1080p I'd say nvidia 560 or better or 6xx series might be better they should be cheap and play most games at least medium or better. Not sure amd side.
