Hi guys, currently been running Asus PB278Q on 2 x GTX 780's quite happily for some time now. Starting to get itchy for a monitor upgrade if one is viable.

Any suggestions on this, although the IPS 1440p is a great screen, I really like the idea of going 32" but haven't seen an IPS at this size and res. How viable is a VA panel after being used to IPS, Benq and Samsung both have a VA panel at 32" I notice... ?

My budget is around £500-750.

If you want to stick with ips and are happy with 60hz you should maybe consider a 34 inch 21:9 superwide.

For your budget the AOC one coming out soon should fit, or a decent deal on the LG non curved one.

Since posting I started looking at Superwide. I play a wide variety of games and I'm concerned about how many of them are likely to support these... 'odd' resolutions.

It's only really the last year or two that 2560x1440 support has become a standard option in games, what's it like for 3440x1440 out there at the moment, does anything run it yet, or is it all black bars or stretchy nastiness?

Well I gamed on my Dell 29 inch superwide for the last year and a bit before I got the Rog Swift (still got the dell, awesome monitor).

I had very few problems whatsoever in the games I play. Aside from most games officially supporting 21:9 there is also the 'Flawless Widescreen' prog that sorts most issues nicely.
