Hi all,

One of my colleagues is looking to replace his contract Motorola Razr in the next few weeks, and is unsure what will be a good replacement. He liked the Nokia 8800 until he saw the abysmal talk time (and quite £££). He'll pass the Razr on to me cheaply which is nice :)

The phone must have Bluetooth, a camera and be, well, decent!

He could always try the updated razr v3i or even the v3x. v3i is a direct replacement of the original v3 but with some updated specs like a 1.3megapixel camera. The v3x has a 2megapixel camera and I think you have the option to add a memory card.

What's the Motorola Pebl like in comparison to those phones?

Rubbish, as is imo the V3x.

Pebl has nothing to it, rubbish all round. And the V3x is rarther large and has just adopted the V3 name, when realy its nothing like any other V3.

I'd go for the V3i or the 8800, i've had both the V3 and the 8800 and I can safly say the 8800's batery is miles better.

Hmmmm, you sure? Because on paper and in reviews it seems the 8800 has a poor battery life. My mate's written off the 8800 due to hearing bad things about the batt., mainly because he uses his phone to talk a lot, frequently for 1hr plus!

8800,8800,8800,8800! Great looking phone, battery life aint too bad, I charge mine up every other day, and it does come with a 2nd battery

The battery on the 8800 is not great no, but they do give you two in the box. Its not the best but then coming from the V3 any phone out at the mo should be an improvment, that phones battery is POOR! 8800 even with a lot of talk will last a day or two even at a push, with the spare bat as well should be able to go for 3 days easy with heavy talk.

NO, NOT THE 8800!!! :D :p

Hmmmm, ok, I'll tell him the feedback then on the 8800. Ta ;)
