Upgrade from the X34 yet

I've been on the Acer X34 since launch late 2015 and been loving UW 21:9 since, the panel has the normal first edition bleed in a couple of corners, though it has all it's pixels and see's 100hz O/C. But I still want to know what people have upgraded to from this screen? Or anything coming out soon, will be using a 2080ti.

The LG 38GL950G would probably be the next logical step up, which is due later this year. Perhaps the Asus XG438Q also. Or if the Asus PG35VQ ever makes an appearance, that could be worth a look. Nothing out there right now which is a true upgrade though.

Thanks for that, I saw the LG earlier today and peaked my interest, though I'm worried the 1600p resolution won't be widely supported much like 3440x1440 wasn't for the first 12 months of it's life. As for the XG43, that'll have the space PPI as mine does now, just over a larger area. It's to know what to do, I don't mind waiting for the right screen though.

It's the same format, 21:9, so shouldn't be an issue at all. All these options have the same PPI or thereabouts, so in terms of sharpness there won't be much in it... although 4K will be that bit harder to drive. The sharpness aspect will be altered by distance sat from the screen of course.

The Acer Nitro 4K makes a fine companion to my Asus 34" UW. You might also consider the Samsung CRG9 mega-wide 120 Hz 32:9 5120x1440 monitor.

The LG looks the most attractive at the moment imo, small bump up in size along with pixels will make it the same PPI, faster refresh rate (175) than my X34, 450 brightness so bottom end of HDR? (if any-one can confirm) and g-sync. Really ticks all my boxes, can any-one see anything bad about it? I'm not a monitor know it all.
