Upgrade from Windows 7

I will be installing a new GPU, and re-installing Windows. But would it be a good idea to upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10?

To get driver support, any updates to DX12/Vulkan etc, where W7 may not have the newer gaming features?

Yes W10 is the way to go, but you are a bit late for the free upgrade.
