My current PC is starting to show the stain on current games GTR2, Half Life2, Call of Juarez etc & I think I need to upgrade..... I have detailed my current spec (bottom of page ) & assume i need to upgrade processor, mother board, graphics card & ram. I have picked out the following from this site...should this do the job or do you guys reccomend anything else for around the same price ?

Also the X1900 is superior

Intel Core 2 DUO E6300 "LGA775 Allendale" 1.86GHz (1066FSB) - OEM (CP-135-IN)
Gigabyte GA_965P_DS3 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard (MB-061-GI)
Connect3D ATI Radeon X1900 XT 256MB GDDR3 AVIVO TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (GX-053-CO)

cheaper setup and much better for gaming imo

Cheers for your response guys....2 questions

1. Are you saying that Dual Core is probably not needed then as games do not take advantage of this ?

2. Will the intergrated sound card on motherboard be better than my Creative 5.1 ?

Cheers

Saint
