Hey guys, I currently have a XFX 6850 Black Edition running my 3 screens in eyefinity, i'm just wondering would it be cheaper to update the GFX card or to sell the monitors and grab a 2560x1440?

All specs are in sig.

I'm guessing a 650w PSU wouldn't cope.

EDIT: No worries my Mobo can't support crossfire with a Sound Card onboard.

I'd go with a faster card, regardless of size I would never have just one screen. That 6850 cant be managing that well in eyefinity anyway or with a single screen that large.

650watt PSU will, so long as it is a decent brand power any single gfx card which isn's a duel chip solution, 6990/590 etc and even then it may.
 
Thanks for the help i can'r run a second GPU as the second pci-e slot is only x1 because of the sound card. Probably will just wait a while sell up and build a new pc.
