Hello all,

I am contemplating, seeing as i've been paid I thought i'd splash out a bit of cash on a minor upgrade. I've got a small budget of around £500 for an upgrade. However sadly I've decided to include the thrustmaster warthog joystick as part of my upgrade as i've got the old X52 which just, isn't cutting it...

Anyway. This leaves me with around 200 ish for an upgrade. Let's just keep the numbers whole for the time being.

Right, so. My system build is getting dated now and I do intend to play BF3 when it get's released. I will no doubt be upgrading the other components closer the time to get a feel for the game then, If I need to.

System specs:

AMD 950 OC'd to 3.8Ghz
4GB Corsair Dominator Ram
Saphire ATI 5850 1GB
OCZ 700 Watt PSU

And the other standard system components...

so, I was thinking of upgrading the RAM mainly from 4gb to 8gb... Maybe this: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-295-CS

Or would this be better:

Maybe even a CPU upgrade instead?

Also while we're at it, has anyone had experience with the Thrustmaster Warthog joystick and is it much preferred over the X52?

I'd just slap another 5850 in. Should make it a pokey little system and possibly an ssd as well

Will I be able to get away with the 700 Watt PSU for two 5850's or would I need to update the PSU as well?

Also to the former poster, would an I5 see a considerable upgrade over the 955?
