hi all I have an msi gtx980 4g gaming but thinking of upgrading to a msi gtx980ti lighning would welcome peoples comments as to if this is a good idea.at present I have a 23" 1080p but want to move up to a 2560x1440 144hz monitor when there are viable ips g-sync screens.

Expect to see 25% / + if you go for a Lightning. Will depend a little on your current clocks as well.

tbh mate you should wait for pascal. 980 can handle most games very weel still. You wont see a huge difference. Now pascal should see a big jump.
