upgrade graphics card ?

hi, im looking at getting a tv as my pc screen. It will be a 32" samsung 720p.
i currently have a xfx 8600gt , would this display ok without any loss of graphics as i do a lot of gaming. thanks

If your TV has DVI/VGA then it will be fine - most "720p" TV's run 1360x768 I think, which is a pretty low res for PC gaming. However it depends what games you play to depend on how well it will perform.

ok. will i be able to play HD movies from my pc to the tv ? If so i believe i need a certain cable for it to be HD. thanks

You need a DVI-HDMI cable to do HD from Bluray (all of which should be HDCP compliant)

afaik your gfx card is hdcp ok, just make sure the tv is as well
