Upgrade help final build

Hi all.

Looking for advice on my upgrade plan for my pc.

So far here is what i have got, and what seems to be the best i can get based on reading around.

I5 2500k ( decided based on advice not to wait for the AMD stuff)

Gigabyte Mobo, seems very good value and will last a long time hopefully.

4GB ram

All that im stuck on right now is what graphics, my current build is in Sig, and my PSU is 650 corsair, it pretty much down to either 6870 or a 560TI.

suggestions welcome ofc, monitor is a good old CRT 1600x1200 max res.;)
 
If you're wanting to run games like BF3 you will be needing the 560ti at least really...

The 2500K is as said everywhere here, the best choice for a gaming processor atm.

4GB of RAM will do aswell, and a nice Z68 mobo should do :D
 
thanks for the replys, by the way why is Z68 such a good mobo, i been trying to work out why so many people recommend it compared to other more exspencive mobos without Z68.?

p.s will 650W corsair be ok for 560Ti?
p.s.s the new mobo will work with my 500gb samsung HD+DVD player i guess as nothin changed in that region right?
