I've spent the last few months umming and arring about what monitor to buy next but unfortunately my last dell 3011 is showing signs of failing so i need to start making a decision asap.
I'm a graphic designer but also want to play games on it when I fancy it. I want to go 4k and my initial option is the Dell UP3216Q I don't really want to go any smaller for 4k but two monitors with high colour accuracy have sparked my interest recently which aren't 4k but i think sound very good !
1) the LG 32UD99
2) the upcoming Asus PG35VQ (the 35 inch sounds really appealing to me but isn't 4k)
Despite being a designer I am actually a bit of a noob when it comes to displays as i was recommended the Dell 3011 years back by a mate and have always find most other monitors of the years fail in comparison.
What i want to know is will any of the above monitors stand up to my 3011 or the up3216q regarding colour accuracy, wide gamma etc ? I see LG ARE pretty good for color accuracy but how do they compare to dell premier colours?
Is there anything else out I should be considering thsts out now or coming out soon.
Last time I bought a ultra wide dell ultra sharp monitor I sent it back due to poor edge bleeding issues.
I know its pushing it but HDR and G Sync would be a massive bonus Lol.
Appreciate anyone's Input.
