Hey there guys. PC recently died, and im as yet to find the cause of the problem. Anyway, just got back from holiday and have also shot around 8 hours worth of high def footage which needs editing. My PC has really struggled in the past with this. So, im thinking of upgrading. my suspicions lie with the mobo as the cause of the recent death of my pc
Im currently running
e6600 clocked at 3.6ghz
4gb geil ultra low latency 6400 ram
evga 680i mobo
nvidia 8800gts 512mb
bfg 1000w psu
antec 900 case
im def going to have to get a new motherboard, and if im going to stick with my current processor im not going to have much in the way of choice
Im really not that bothered about gaming anymore. Just want a fast setup with quick load times thats not going to struggle too much with hd editing. Do you think id benefit from a new cpu aswell
