Hi, Basically I've got the itch for an upgrade, and would like you to cast an eye over my list please.

CPU: 2500K Sandy Bridge
Motherboard: Asus P8P67-M PRO
Memory: 4GB (2x2GB) Corsair XMS3 DDR3 PC3-12800 (1600)
GPU: 1536MB Asus GTX 480

Now, this upgrade is mainly for games, which would be running at a res of 1920 x 1200.

How does this list look? Hopefully looking to be able to play most games at max settings for about a year or so.
Can anyone think of a worthy alternative for anything on the list? I'm fairly flexible on price, but don't want to be paying a lot more.

The GPU is only £200, is it worth me paying the extra £80 for a GTX570? from what I've read of reviews it doesn't seem so.

Also, My PSU is only a 400 Watter, will I need to be uprating this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

A decent brand PSU is a must have (take it from me - you don't want to learn that the hard way!). 600w should be fine for a single gpu setup, 800w if you're planning on going SLI at a later date (personally wouldn't bother).

It's not worth the extra for a 570 - a 480 will give you more or less identical performance at that res.
