ok so currently running on a Gigabyte GA-X48-DQ6 with Q6600 G0 step currently clocked to 3.0GHz
however it's just not cutting it any more so i'm looking to upgrade
the two cpu's i am currently considering are
Intel i5 3570k or Intel i7 3770k
however there are so many mobo's for this socket i 'm not sure where to start
or even what chipset to chose from
so what am i looking for from my new mobo
minimum of 8 internal sata more would be better with a greater leaning towards 6Gb/s
currently have 2x 3tb, 4x 2tb and 2x ssd's
8x+8x sli
my ideal mobo would have been this Gigabyte X79-UP4 but wrong socket for my chosen cpu's
(was considering an 3930K but after a bit a soul searching just couldn't justify the price)
