Upgrade help - spec me up

I'd normally ask exactly what you do with your PC but I'll assume general gaming. In which case I'd buy the parts below with an ASRock DUAL-VSTA motherboard so that you can re-use your existing Ram as your budget isn't enough to replace the motherboard with a good overclocking one and get DDR2 Ram.

I don't really game on my PC anymore, as I've a 360 and Wii. Mainly using it for video encoding and Photoshop work.

I want to change to a Intel CPU, so I'll need a new motherboard and graphics card as mine is AGP.

What sort of level of graphics power would you be happy with on the PC then? To maintain the same level as the 6800gt would cost around £80ish which is almost a third of the budget, you would also need Ram if you buy most new motherboards as they accept DDR2 only (apart from the ASRock I suggested and one other I believe, also from ASRock) and to get 1gb is around £80 at present so you would end up with less Ram but a faster CPU. :)

Looks like the question now should be, how much do I need to spend to get a decent PC?

As for graphic power I still want to run games, just maybe not at the hightest detail settings.
