Looking to upgrade my PC soon, just wondering if you agree if these updates are worthy :)

And will i notice a big difference in recent games (prey, hl2:e1, tombraider, hitman:bloodmoney) and older games like (farcry, hl2, quake4, cod2, bf2) from my current spec, if i upgraded to this:

CP-155-AM AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4200+ (Socket 939) - OEM (CP-155-AM)
£184.95 £184.95
GX-044-CO Connect3D ATI Radeon X1800 XT 256MB GDDR3 AVIVO TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (GX-044-CO)
£144.95 £144.95
MY-079-CS Corsair 2GB DDR XMS3200C2PT TwinX (2x1GB) CAS2 (MY-079-CS)
£129.95 £129.95
SC-034-CL Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Music - Retail (SC-034-CL)
£69.95 £69.95
Subtotal £529.80
Shipping (City Link Parcel Next Day (Delivered Mon-Fri)) £8.25
VAT £94.16
Total £632.21

Didn't really wanna spend over £600, but if this will make a big difference, i might have too. I won't be buying all parts at once, so which would you advice i get first?

Thanks

Shipping costs should be the same so just add 8 quid on to that spec. The 3800+ can be clocked higher than the 4200+ with ease and its cheaper also got you an Freezer64 wich will help with overclocking. Also managed to squeeze a X1800XT 512mb card in there and added the sound card as i presume you want this? Also went with the gskill ram as is cheaper and just as good as the corsair ram. Hope this helps ;)
