Hi everyone,

I'm looking at upgrading my work PC, it's getting a bit old now and I'm really starting to feel it slowing down running a few instances of VS2010 and a couple of virtual machines.

This bundle looks like it should have the power I need:
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BU-033-OP

What I'm really wondering is what else I'll need to replace, as I don't think any other upgrades will benefit me. Parts I'd be looking to keep but am not sure about would be:
  • Antec NeoHE 550w modular PSU
  • Nvidia 7950gt 512mb
  • Nvidia 7900gt 256mb
  • Creative Xfi soundcard

So, am I likely to have any issues with those parts? If I am, what should I get to replace them?

It should all work just fine and dandy, assuming your PC Case is big enough to incorporate the cooler.
It doesn't say anywhere that you do any gaming so the GPU should be fine, and your PSU has more than enough power.

Your Case: 42.5cm (H) x 20.6cm (W) x 46.3cm (D)
Cooler: 12.4cm (H) x 15.9cm (W) x 8.10cm (D)

It should fit fine.

Right, well the parts came... I did the upgrade... It wouldn't power up.

It seems the PSU isn't powerful enough, to get the PC to run I've had to take out the 2nd graphics card, sound card and a hard drive. It's only running at stock speeds too.

So then, what PSU should I be buying to power this thing?

I have this bundle http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BU-033-OP and
  • Nvidia 7950gt 512mb
  • Nvidia 7900gs 256mb
  • Creative Xfi soundcard
  • 1 x SSD
  • 3 x 7200rpm sata drives
  • 1 x 5900rpm sata drive
  • 1 x DVD-RW drive
