Upgrade help

Hi guys,
First post, so go easy.
I'm thinking of upgrading my pc for Skyrim and was wondering what you guys
think would be the best thing to get.
here is my current spec:

Intel i5 750 @ 2.67Ghz Asrock p55pro
4GB Corsair 667mhz DDR3
Radeon HD 5850 1gb
850W Corsair Modular PSU
500gb samsung

I thinking of most likely going for a new amd 7000 series gpu. I'm not to concerned about the getting a ssd as loading times don't really bother me.
any other ideas?

Getting a stronger graphics card is about all you need to do.

The i5 750 CPU is still very good.

Grab a decent cooler and clock your CPU if possible?
Other than that if i had that system I would be waiting for the AMD 7xxx cards as well.
SSDs make the overall system feel more responsive and snappier but thats up to you

would it be worth selling the 5850 or keeping it and putting it in crossfire with the 7000

You could'nt. It has to be the same series. Cards to crossfire with a 5850 would be the 5830 and 5870, not sure about the 5870x2.

Sell it, besides you cant Crossfire cards from different family groups.
