Upgrade help

Hi,

One of my old pc's has given up the ghost as in the MB has popped.

Going to sell the processor and ram as its only a old dual core 3.4 duo intel.

I'm looking for some advise to build a stand bye gaming rig on the cheap. I have all the components needed apart from the MB,RAM,CPU/ COOLER.

Was thinking of a max of £400 for a bundle + maybe £150 for the GPU. Also the power supply I have is 500w - would this be enough for an upgrade ?.

Was thinking of the below as an option

7850 is one of the best bang for buck cards, 500w psu is enough for the 7850.

That bundle is good and will offer u sli and crossfire, if you wish to save some money then this a good bundle.

OP I can second that the HD 7850 is an amazing card for the cash. Especially in 2GB form!

TBH Intel Core i5 3570K with a Z77 board and a HD 7850 is a winning combo atm and can be done for under £500!
