Upgrade Help

Hello All.

I bought my Titan Prodigy from OC about 10 months ago, which comprised of a HIS IceQ 7870, A10 Black CPU. I think it is a mini itx.

I now want a GTX 780ti, but as my CPU is bad, I need the best (cheapest) pairing CPU and motherboard that won't impede the GPU.

I don't really know much about CPU's, will an I3 or I5 be ok?

I have decent RAM and Power Supply.

Define 'decent' power supply.

Do you want to be able to overclock your new CPU? And if so, do you already have a CPU cooler?

Save some more and get a 290.

That will be fine - the 780's reference cooler is very good. There are no 780s on This Week Only, so you might as well wait until they change tomorrow to see if you can get a better deal.

If you go for a 290, get one of the custom cooled ones.
