i'am upgrading my old system which is an old fx6300 going to the new ryzen but i can not decide which one to go for. it will be for gaming only gta5, witcher 3 games like that. all i need is mb,ram and cpu but i dont know if to go for the new 1300x and 16gb of ram or the 1500x and 8gb of ram, my gpu is the rx 480 4gb. any help or advice would be a massive help. thanks

I didn't think about the 1600 my budget is about £400 so the 1600 would fit into that, motherboard ive decided to go with the b350 strix or maybe the b350 msi gaming pro carbon then as you say I could get 8gb of ram now then more later. And coming from a fx6300 anything would be an improvement
