Upgrade ideas for curreent system

Thing slowing on just a few tasks im doing

Current setup is,
MSI B450 TOMAHAWk
AMD Ryzen 5 2400G ) Main issue Im guessing)
KINGSTON SHSS37A240G (OS again not great I imagine)
- Asus Radeon RX 580 Arez Dual OC 8192MB GDDR5 ( I am not a gamer so seems fine right now, msotly Video rendering etc)

Was thinking Mobo, CPU and a M2 Drive of some kind?...Truth is I have no idea of CPU naming anymore, have no idea what is what anymore.

Your cpu is holding things back ypu should be able to drop in a 6 core 3600 cpu.

List your system spec please.

New cpu and 1tb m2 drive, there are new 5000 series cpu out but avalibilty is an issuie and you would need a bios update for that.

Ryzen 3000 available now.
3600 6 core
3700x 8 core

1 tb M2 western digital sn 550.

Thinks like mixing down midi music files, lots effects churning and video rendering is a struggle at about 4k.

It is yea, hammers everything, especially the 4k rendering. Didn't know GPU fans made that much noise.
It's not that it doesn't do these things, just like it to be faster if possible.
