I'm purchasing the hazro 27 inch monitor tomorrow.

Moving from this build to a single monitor build

460 gtx 768mb ram
4gb ram
1tb hdd
I3 @ 4.4ghz
430psu

I have a new card on the way, Nvidia 560ti 1gb asus 900mhz

What 8gb ram should I buy? And also what psu would be recommended for under 60£

Would the 560ti 900mhz be able to cope with2560x1440 resolution and what about when gaming? Thanks

at that res i would seriously suggest trying to get the 2GB version of the card:

i game at 1360x768 resolution and have problems with my 460 768MB card running out of VRAM in some games, so how 1GB is going to cope with 3.5x as many pixels i dont know

do you plan on going SLI in the future?

*edit*
theres a thread comparing the 1GB and 2GB versions of the 560Ti in the news section somewhere. the comparison was done at 1920x1080, so whatever differences they show there will be magnified quite a lot

Even if it will struggle in max settings at that res, could it cope with general comp use movies ect, and I could just play games window mode at lower res?

550W is fine for a single GTX560Ti and XFX make quality PSU's. Any plans on ever going SLI/Xfire?

+1 for getting a 2GB version or go for a 2GB 6950.

(Might be worth holding out just a bit longer as AMD's new cards are expecting within two weeks).

Lol. What's the point in having such a good monitor then? Might as well get a 24/27" 1080p screen for half the price?!

Another very good PSU.
