upgrade in december

in december my parents want to buy me a pc for xmas.

all i need is

cpu

motherboard

ram

graphics card

Budget : £600


In jan im getting the 8800 or whatever its called graphics card, along with a bigger better case, and high wattage psu...... and maybe a gig or 2 more ram.

I also need an OS.

This pc is for gaming only tbh


What to buy ? (gonna tell them the spec in december)

The ocuk bundles seem to be a good idea........

I understand i dont need a good gfx card as im buying a better one so a cheap one would be good atm.......

It is a bit pointless deciding now exactly what you want to get as there will be deals that you might want to take advantage of. However since you ask I'd probably choose something like a Gigabyte DS3, a Conroe 6300/6400, a good cooler, 2gb of PC6400 Ram and a graphics card to fit into the budget, maybe an X1900XT.
