Running an XFX 4890 black edition which is clocked up a little, anyone know if I would see much improvement by upgrading to an nVidia 460 card ? I mostly play WoW, L4D, SC2 and am looking forward to Diablo3. My systems specs are
q6600 clocked at 3ghz with 4gb Ram on a Gigabyte P35-DS4 running windows7.
I've money burning a holes in my pocket due to the wife and kids hassling me to spend so they can wrap stuff up. I'm torn between holding on to the cash and getting ear ache, upgrading the graphics card or throwing some extra money in and upgrading to an i7 950, new motherboard (asus) and 6gb Ram. I know theres new tech coming round the corner but what with vat increase and initial prices being high on new tech I'd wait forever for the next upgrade coming etc.
Any thoughts welcome
