so heres my current set up, except i have gigabye windforce ghz 7970s. And some lovely harman kardon soundstick 3s which is my favorite part, love them!

but i have an itch, we all have had it, it comes with this hobby, and its not the sort some cream can sort out.

im pondering getting a 7990 for 200-250 and selling off one of my 7970s for some trifire. I will also up the psu to a corsair AX1200i.
would a 7990+7970 work well in trifire and give a decent boost, or would i be best waiting for a 295x2? or even still since its not having any trouble with anything i've thrown at it at 1440p, wait for the next series of gpu and maybe upgrade the ssd to 1tb resolve this itching problem!

so either 290 crossfire or 295 it looks like, and on the i7 to 'feed' my 7970s, would the 4790k be much better than my 4670k?

i thought cpu in games was marginal?

true, it was just seeing i could get a 7990 for around £200, thought might be a worthwhile upgrade.

might just replace my 2TB hd with a 1TB SSD for speed
