Hey guys,

I think it's time for an upgrade of my PC, completely out of the loop with this one so I really need your help.

I'm not gonna lie, I generally just fart around on WoW but wouldn't mind expanding my games collection to more recent releases.

I have £400 to spend and haven't upgraded in ages. My current PC is as follows:
  • Intel Core i3-2120 3.30GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor - Retail
  • Gigabyte Z77-D3H Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard
  • Asus HD 6850 DirectCU V2 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
  • Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB SATA 6Gb/s 16MB Cache - OEM (ST500DM002) HDD
  • Corsair Builder Series CX 500W V2 '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply (CP-9020047-UK)
  • Kingston HyperX Genesis Grey 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (KHX1600C9D3X2K2/8GX)

Any help would be great :D
 
I would look at upgrading the CPU & GPU, everything else is in order!

Yep it's the best bang for buck SSD available, will considerably speed up loading times and general responsiveness. It'll be great!
 
Yes an SSD is worth it :)
Do you have an aftermarket cooler? If so what? As you will want to overclock your new processor :) Unless you leave it at stock to start with if you cant afford the cooler, then OC it when you can
 
I don't have an aftermarket cooler, no. Just got a stock one on currently, not overclocked it at all. Any recommend coolers?
 
What case have you got? Do you know the max clearance for a cooler?
Whats your fav char on WOW?
 
OP, not sure, but do you have access to the MM on here as you were a member before the big changes came in. If so you can pick a 3570k up in there for around £100. There is no way i would be paying £170 for a new one now.
