Upgrade mobo advice please

I need to upgrade my mobo to am2+. Any advice on which mobo to get, please? I am looking to upgrade to a AMD Phenom II X4 Quad Core 940 Black Edition 3.0GHz (Socket AM2+) - Retail. My current Gfx card is a XFX ATI Radeon HD 4870 1024MB GDDR5 TV-Out/Dual DVI/HDMI (PCI-Express) - Retail. I am not looking to crossfire as house is too warm as it is! So i am just looking for a single pci-express(2) mobo that will keep my current os sweet until Windows 7 Ultimate arrives,thanks.


My specs at present are:
Athlon X2 6000 AM2(unclocked)
ASUS M2R32-MVP AMD 580X CrossFire Chipset AM2 ATX Motherboard M2R32-MVP
Maxtor 250gb 8mb Cache
Pioneer DVD-RW DVDR-111D
4GB DDR2 800 6400 OCZ(2X2GB)
Windows Xp Home Edition Sp3

you might as well wait till the end of the month for the 945 /955
which will be clocked higher & will be am3.
Allowing you to go for the newer am3 mobos & allow much greater flexabilty in the future.
