Upgrade Mobo, CPU and GPU or 2 new GPUs?

Hi guys, upgrading for mw3 and bf3.

I have a crosshair III mobo with a phenom x4 black edition @ 3.3 ghz 955 think it is iirc. And a 4890 2GB toxic. Whilst it's okay I want more, I have 2 choices not sure if it's all needed.

It's either just upgrade to 6950 2gb in Crossfire.

Or an i5 2500k with a new mobo (not sure what one yet) and a single 6950.

I'm not sure on how much performance my quite old processor can punch out anymore as I haven't bought the games yet!

I have 8gb of DDR 3 XMS 3 so ram isn't needed upgrading, and a corsair gold 800watt psu so that's also fine. Any help greatly appreciated!

2x 6950 will give you a bigger boost then the i2500k + single 6950.

on today only http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-036-HS&groupid=701&catid=56&subcat=1752 people don't seem to like the cooler but these are £30+ cheaper than the others. you can't order 2 in one order but could do 2 orders(so will be double postage but still cheaper than buying 2x the more expensive ones in one order).

if you can overclock the CPU.

while I suggested the his 6950s if you can wait a little longer new graphics cards are due out soon.

Or wait until the 7xxx series cards are out, possibly December/January, and see what they bring to the table.
