Upgrade my CPU!!??

Hello all!

My mobo is the dreaded 'Asus' (Fujitsu-Siemens) A8NE-fm
It currently has an AMD64 3800+ 'Venice core' CPU...

What is the best upgrade for me on this mobo? (balance of price/performance). Can it run a Dual core? etc...

According to asus you can upgrade to a 64x2 dual core socket 939 on a A8NE mainboard, check it out at asus cpu support.

Is it just a case of old one out, new one in? Or is it a bios change scenario, or suchlike?
