I have a Dell Dimension 4600i which looks like it has 4 slots on the mobo for RAM. Two of these are currently occupied with ProMOS 512Mb DDR-400-CL3.
My question is, is this likely to be the kind of RAM where I would have to install 2 sticks of the same RAM? e.g. I'd have to buy 2x1GB Crucial sticks.
In the original config section of the Dell website, it's listed as being MEMORY DUAL-CHANNEL 1024MB (2X512) 400 M
