Purchased Batman Arkham Knight and it seems that my GPU can't handle it. Are new cards still available for my mobo? Best bang for buck option new or used.

Current spec in my signature

Thanks

Edit: Though I've just finished Alien Isolation with no problems graphics wise.

If you can't run it at lower settings and delay the purchase to see what cards are being released over the next 6 to 8 weeks (hopefully) and how they affect prices of current cards how much do you want to spend?

Check the MM and see what comes up? I expect you could get a 7850 or a 660 for that. :)

They will have no problems running in your system, but your CPU might bottleneck them in some games.

Batman Arkham Knight was a mess on release no ? it ran like poo and was poorly optimized even now after the patches its still not fantastic:)

Arkham Knight is no the best game for working out hardware limitation, as the port is so bad and the game is broken to the point that even Steam was willing to offer people the choice to get refund for it.

I'd go with a 7850 over something like a 660 as that chips still in use today with the R9 370 and likely to have better support going forward than you'll get with Kepler chips.

Oh dear! I did promise myself not to buy this one due to the tower glitch in Arkham Origins. Should this be playable as I've just finished Alien Isolation which is quite a new game? Though the draw distances and levels in that are quite small
