Upgrade my graphics card

hey guys i currently have a AMD Radeon R9 200/HD Series that i want to upgrade as i have been away from pc gaming for a long while im looking to get back into it.
My budget is up to £350.
Intel(R) Core (TM) i7 CPU 860 @ 2.80GHz
gigabyte technology P55A UD4 motherboard.
SM BIOS Version 2.4,
8.00 GB Ram.

Any help would be welcomed guys thank you in advance.
 
Your CPU will very likely bottleneck GPUs around £150 and up. In your position, I'd decide between spending a lot less than £350 on a GPU, or save up more for CPU/RAM/mobo + GPU upgrade.

Also, we don't know which Radeon R9 200 series GPU you have. 270, 280, 280X, 290, 290X... try GPU-Z for the info.

Which monitor resolution and refresh rate you're using would also be handy to know.
