Upgrade needed - AMD FX4100

Hi all,

I'm in the process of upgrading my PC part by part over the coming months. I can currently play the majority of new games on Ultra (Bioshock, FarCry3 etc), but would like something that's going to be able to do so for the next couple of years. I also use Adobe software a lot.

Currently have:

AMD FX-4100 Black Edition CPU
AMD Radeon 6850 1GB
8GB Corsair DDR3 RAM
Asus M5A88-M Mobo (Won't be upgrading)

Probably have around £100 to spend on a new CPU. Any advice? I was thinking of going for this: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CP-339-AM&tool=3

You would be better off with a 6300 or 6350 if your motheroard supports it

I would get an FX6300. It draws a similar amount of power and has the same TDP as your current CPU,so should in theory not strain your motherboard any more too.
