Upgrade - New Processor and Mobo

My motherboard has just packed in completely, so I'm looking to upgrade for about £300.

I currently a i5 2500k, 12gb DDR 3 ram, gtx 670 and a 750w corsair psu.

I'm looking to be able to play battlefield 4 on high settings with a good frame rate! Maybe even Max!

Any suggestions?

Installing the new mobo, is it just a case of removing the old one, memorising the positions of the cables and plugging them back in respective to the new one? I'm a bit of a noob with this! Also, is it with to load in all the RaM I have straight away with the new mobo or have one stick, see if it works and put the rest in later?
