New build spec is
Msi b450i gaming pro ac (mini itx)
2 x 16gb 3200mhz corsair
1 x 970 evo 500gb m.2
1x 840 evo 500gb ssd
1 x wd 5200 hdd
1 x evga gtx 1080 reference
4 x noctua nf-f12's
1 x corsair h60 2018

95%cpu usage calculators put it at 400w

Was thinking of going for a 650w but could i go for a 550w?

Want to to be quiet as possible atbthe moment its pretty silent appart from coil whine from psu when gaming.

I was thinking either

Be quiet pure power 11
Corsair rmx
Seasonic focus plus gold
Evga supernova g2

That CPU isn't really power hungry and neither is reference GTX 1080.

Typical gaming consumption wouldn't be that much above 250W and at least below 300W.
So 550W would be enough.

Pure Power 11 uses second rate capacitors, so knock it down to rear of candidates.
Especially when it isn't even cheaper for that, or offering good warranty length.
(in fact even ludicrously expensive BeQuiet models are limited to 5 year warranty)

Seasonic has market by the balls in pricing.

Though Antec has also good pricing.

And there's semi-modular model for clearly less and still with 7 year warranty.

(though lacks semi-passive mode for fan)
