Upgrade now or wait

Hi Guys

Made the decision to upgrade my 4gb 960 to something a bit beefier as it’s not really cutting it for the latest releases.

I was thinking, do you think it would be wise to upgrade now or hang fire until the new Nvidia series is out? (Whenever that may be)

In terms of the rest of my system I have :

MSI H170 M3 Motherboard
I5 6600k
16gb DDR4 ram.

Under £300 ideally, would rather spend south of that but I guess we don’t live in an ideal world so could stretch if needed.

If you want to game @1080p and to stick with Nvidia i would suggest a GTX 1060 6gb they can be had for as low as 260 quid atm on OCUK on User-bench it seems its around 50% Faster than a 960 at playing games.

I dont know what kind of Monitor you have but they can Normally Push 100+ FPS in most games at high settings so a High refresh Rate monitor would be ideal.
