Hi all,

Looking to upgrade my rig, currently

Intel i7 920 @ 2.7
6GB Memory
Nvidia GTX 480
1TB Hdd

I've got around £600-£700 to spend. Like my gaming :)

Cheers

My recommendation would be to keep your CPU & Motherboard and get a better graphics card along with an SSD. Your chip and mobo should still perform well, but a slightly better overclock would improve performance.

If on the other hand you're looking to swap it all out, this may well be a good choice:

YOUR BASKET
1 x Intel Core i5-4690K 3.50GHz (Devil's Canyon) Socket LGA1150 Processor - Retail £189.95
1 x VTX3D Radeon R9 280 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £185.99
1 x Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 3 Intel Z97 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard £109.99
1 x Intel 335 Series 20nm 240GB 2.5" SATA 6Gb/s Solid State Hard Drive - Retail (SSDSC2CT240A4K5) £109.98
1 x Corsair Hydro H80i High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler £74.99
