So, i currently have

AMD Piledriver FX-8 Eight Core 8350 Black Edition 4.00GHz (Socket AM3+) Processor

Avexir Core Blue Series 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-21000C11 2666MHz Dual Channel Memory Kit (Which i can't find anywhere to go up to 16GB...)

Gigabyte 990FXA-UD5 AMD 990FX (Socket AM3+) DDR3 Motherboard

I'v been offered a Gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H with an Core i5 3570k but i'm unsure on what to do.

I mostply play CS:GO which is CPU intensive. I know the i5 has the intergrated graphics processing which will help a lot.

So the question is, move over to what has been offered to me or would it be better to just get something more indate. I'v been looking at the AMD APU CPU's. As far as cost goes, i don't mind spending money but i would prefer if i didn't have too as any would.

Yes i know my current mobo dosn't support 2666Mhz RAM and yes it annoys me but ever so little. I currently run two 770GTX's in SLi and have watercooling ready to go in except a CPU block, hence this post to see what i should do pre-ordering a water block.

Thanks for any help in advanced.

I play on low settings and average 130fps in spawn locations, this is before gun shots / smoke / molotove ect.

Friend who has an i5 2200k?(Don't think thats even a model :D) I think (It's something thats very close to 4590k but prev gen) get more FPS on max settings, how would you explain that? He also only has a single 770GTX

If i was to get a 2500K, is there a mobo that would support 4th gens and back down to 2nd? SO i could upgrade to a 4690/k at some point.

I like to future proof myself so i can slowly upgrade opposed to just outright buying a new machine. I'm half heartedly considering just getting a 4690k and be done with it if i'm honest...

Would you have any suggestions on mobos if i was to go that route? Pref that would support 2666Mhz RAM

SLi makes it super silky smooth, regardless of settings, the game is smoother with SLi x enabled. As for input lag, 99% sure i'v done everything to remove as much as possible, i havn't noticed a difference swapping from Single - SLi. My friend has OC'd but only a tiny amount and he only changed the clock speed, nothing else.

Res: 1920 x 1080, yes 144Hz, no net_graph to view.

So from what i can gather, have a go at an OC first to see the difference in performance?

SLi has just made the game smoother for me, there hasn't been a noticeably amount of input lag, might be if i disable it but i'm not too bothered.

I have a H80 on the CPU ATM, i have a custom kit ready to install except a CPU block, hence asking this question before going ahead. Now, for some reason, i didn't think about OC'in now to see how it performs as i already have water cooling on the CPU -.-, feel a bit stupid if I'm honest haha.

As far as comp goes, i'v been Global for as long as i can remember and average 10-13RWS on ESEA

Full Screen mode, always.
