Upgrade options

currently running this for gaming, would like to see an fps boost in my games (mostly csgo+ multiple eve online clients but i do occasionally play one of a large variety of games i own)
Phenom II X4 955 BE @ 4.01GHz
8gb G.Skill 1600Mhz ram
120gb SSD for OS/500bb 7200rpm mechanical for games/1tb for media
xfx 6870 black edition

would i be better off buying a better graphics card or getting a z77 mobo + 3570k to OC?

or id there another upgrade option i havent thought of?

I'd consider flogging the 6870 whilst it is still capable to help fund a GPU upgrade.

Look at a 7950 perhaps? And enjoy the nice games bundle that comes with it. You can worry about the mobo bundle upgrade once Haswell lands this spring.

If your thinking of getting a CPU upgrade, I'd wait until Haswell personally.

probably worth mentioning my current mobo is only pcie2.0 mot 3.0 so is the 7950 still first choice?

No graphics card can fully saturate pci-e 2.0 let alone 3.0 so no need to worry about that
