upgrade options?

My current system is an:
amd 955 running at 3.6
GTX 570
3x2gb corsair xm3 ram
gigabyte GA-880GMA-USB3

just wondering what will be the best way to go, im thinking it will be cheaper to stick with amd as my board is am3+. oh and my budget is around the £400 mark

I would get an SSD, add another £400 to that budget and get Haswell. AMD have had their time to play catch up and failed.

I'd grab a 4670k and an nice 1155 board for that. You can keep the GTX 570 for a while as that's still a pretty capable card.

Edit: You probably need some more RAM with that too.

If youre bothered about aesthetics and the possiblity of overclocking your RAM, Yes..
