Good Afternoon Knowledgeable People of OCUK!

I normally don't do "spec me" threads, but I've not paid a lot of attention to PC hardware the last few years. I currently am running the rig in my signature, but it's beyond dated now and in desperate need of attention.

I've got the case, monitor, hard drive, etc; I really only need CPU/RAM/MOBO/GPU.

I sort of have a price of £300 in my head, as I'm certain £300 hardware is better than my rig now, but can be persuaded to go up to £400 or so. And yes, I will be overclocking, provided the methodology is the same as it's always been and hasn't changed.

I prefer the Intel/AMD combo, but in no way am I brand loyal.

I'm no longer a "hardcore" gamer, but still do need something that'll play games in decent resolution.

Hi Munky,

Need more info.

Which PSU model do you have?

Which case is it?

Which monitor resolution/refresh rate?

And have you ever worn lingerie?

I've got an OCZ Stealth XStream (sounds awesome, I know!) 600W. It has 4 12v rails with 18A each, so I think it should still be ok?

The case is an Antec 300, so I think I can still use that, and I'm currently using my 42" 1080p 3D tv (60Hz) as a monitor.

And I've not wore lingerie since a bad experience with Romanian gypsies put me off after the accident with the donkey and the sledgehammer :(
