Upgrade or new build?

hello people

I havent upgraded since i built this PC (it had its 7th birthday last month

) so i thought maybe it was time to do something before red dead 2 & cyberpunk come out (im also open to the idea of giving this pc away & building something completley new, could probably spend 2000-3000 if needed) anyway since im clueless about parts i thought id ask here for your help & guidance

It's a little long in the tooth but if you're happy with your current performance I would just wait things out, maybe replace something you'll keep long term regardless such as the monitor?

There will be newer tech out before Cyberpunk comes out and we don't know what sort of performance to expect from Red Dead 2 just yet. If you can wait it out until the end of November you could take advantage of the Black Friday sales while having a solid understanding of how RDR2 performs.

& here i thought the monitor was the best part i had left in that list

@orbitalwalsh and @lee32uk will be along soon with epic builds.

I'd go for a full new build but wait till black friday hits in a few weeks to get the most out of your money if you can wait to scratch that itch.
