Hi folks

My current pc is getting of age as it was passed down to me by my elder brother. With the new Fallout out and downloaded i need a solution to play as at the moment its a struggle!

My current specs:

Windows 7 SP1 64 bit

Mobo: Asus P6x5D-E
GPU: AMD 5900 HD Series
CPU: Intel cpu 930 @2.8ghz
RAM: 6Gb

I usually only play Cs:go and rocket league and it runs perfectly fine, but anything newer it just caves in:rolleyes:

any uprgrade suggestions, or am i better off rebuilding ?

Thanks in advance.

Although the whole machine could really do with replacing you might get a bit more life out of it with a graphical upgrade and an SSD? These can then be carried over into a new build when you get round to it? Even something like a GTX770 would be a huge upgrade.

where abouts are you? there was an i7 920 advertised locally to me for £20 that would drop right into your motherboard

EDIT just noticed you have the 930... forget that then...

yea as above go for a gpu upgrade and an ssd you should see a good difference

probably just build a new pc overtime, after christmas is over and done with. probably spend between £ 1500-2000

competitor names/prices+links, please read the forum rules -stulid. I'll

go for something like this minus 1x Hard drive and should be future proof for a few years. Switch the Gpu for the strix 980ti
