Upgrade with a loft of £600
Hey Overclockers
I've got a 4-5 year old gaming PC with the following specs:
Case: Antec 1200
PASU: Corsair CMPSU-750TXEU, 750Watt
Motherboard: Asus P5Q, Intel P45, DDR2 1200, LGA 775
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8500, BOX
GPU: Inno3d GTX260P-M5LTCDSF, 896MB, PCIe
RAM: Kingston HyperX KHX6400D2K2/4G - Kit
HDD: WD Caviar GP 5000AACS, 500GB, SATAII
2nd EDIT:
Would it make sense to swap out with/add in the following:
YOUR BASKET
1 x "Spectre Z77 Aqua" Intel Core i5 3570K 3.40GHz @ 4.40GHz DDR3 Overclocked Bundle - Quad Core £234.00
- 1 x Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz (Ivybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor (77W) - OEM £179.99
- 1 x Standard Build Systems - Approximately 5-7 working days £0.00
1 x Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660 WindForce 2X 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £179.99
Total : £605.98 (includes shipping : £10.00).

And would it be enough to change only that?
It has served me well, but lately it started dropping below 10 FPS in BF3, which results in unbearable gameplay.
I obviously know that my CPU, Motherboard and GPU are outdated, but is there anything worth keeping - making an upgrade viable or should I just replace the whole thing? The PSU and Case are good I guess, but can they justify upgrading, considering they aren't the most expensive parts when buying/building a rig.
Thanks in advance.
1st EDIT: Looked up overclocking on an E8500. And after reading page after page on different sites and in different guides, I honestly don't feel that comfortable with overclocking, I must admit. My dad just gave me £600 for christmas. And I think I'll go ahead and spend them on an upgrade. In a sense, pay my way out of learning
Any bundles you could advise me to get with the listed setup? Or just name some specific parts.
Thanks in advance.
P.S. Sorry for changing the original topic a bit.
