upgrade or not just yet

am i ready for an upgrade, brought this pc over 3 years ago ive already upgrade the video card from 8800gtx to ati 5850, 2gb of ram to 8gb,and brought a ssd,ive not going to spend anymore money on this now,
the pc plays every game fine but the ram abit slow now now days with ddr3 and the i7,so should ive wait for another year

Looks like you have a nice machine there. How are you finding it performs in your games? May I ask what resolution you play at?

Personally, If you are finding the performance up-to-snuff then I would stick with it. Based on the specs it should handle modern games well.

There are new generation CPU/motherboards platforms from both AMD and Intel coming out in Q1 next year - so I would suggest waiting till then at least as your money will go much further.
 
i have a lcd 26 inch,max res are 1360x768
bad company 2 runs fine with every on med-high fps about 40 sometimes 30 and can go up to 50-60
medal of honor fps about 40-70
